Description

The main characteristic of the project location is the topography, which played a very important role in the decision making of the design. This led us to develop the project vertically to best fit the terrain.

A fundamental aspect in space needs was to have social areas that at the same time took advantage of the views towards the natural context. For this reason, these types of spaces were located in the 3 levels facing forward, side and back; this is how the name of the project was born: Terrazas.

The design is optimized to obtain the greatest amount of lighting internally without receiving direct solar radiation, thus avoiding high temperatures inside, so the window openings were also designed to generate cross ventilation and increase internal comfort.

The main terrace as well as the master bedroom enjoy a privileged position to take advantage of the beautiful views towards the forest in the backyard and spectacular sunsets due to their height.

The garage is completely hidden from view of the entrance and by its location it manages to communicate with the garden thus generating a large area for social activities with privacy from public roads and without interrupting the other habitable spaces.
